| A
security deposit of $500 which may be paid using Mastercharge,
or Visa card is totally refunded upon return of the houseboat in
good condition. |
| Payment:
When you book, $300.00 per holiday week or weekend must be
sent. The balance of your hire charge, including tax, is
due 40 days before takeover of your hire boat. |
| Booking
Cancellations: If you are compelled to cancel your
booking, notify us immediately and return your
confirmation. We will then endeavour to relet for
you. If we are successful in reletting, you will be
refunded in full, less a minimum retained premium. If we
don't relet, you are responsible for the whole of the balance
due. |
| Confirmations:
Reservations are confirmed as available space is
allocated. Reserve early to avoid disappointment.
Besides your food, refreshments, clothing and linen, very little
is required. Other suggestions to bring along, as well as
detailed instructions on how to get to our houseboat base and
exact departure time will be mailed to you with a confirmation
of your reservation when your deposit is received.
Operating instructions will be given prior to departure by a
pilot at the houseboat base. There is a supervised area
for parking your car at no charge. |
Conditions
of Hire
| Availability:
Bookings are confirmed on the understanding that the
boat will be placed at your disposal on the date
stated. Should this not be possible through
circumstances not under control of the owner (e.g.
damage, mechanical breakdown, etc.) we cannot guarantee
to provide an alternative boat in which case the hire
charge will be returned to you in full, but you will
have no claim against Antler's Kingfisher Lodge. |
| Additional
Charges: The fuel tanks are full when you
leave and will be "topped up" at your expense
when you return. There will be a clean-up charge
of $50.00 for houseboats returned excessively untidy. A late
return charge of $100.00 will be applied to houseboats not returned
at the specified time. The Renter is responsible
for the $1000 Insurance Deductible-within legal
liability. |
